Capabilities

What we do, end to end.

Three integrated capabilities define how Universal Metal Limited operates: license management, advanced-stage development, and institutional partnership.

01 / License Management

Active Portfolio

The company manages a portfolio of active prospecting licenses under the Tanzanian Mining Act, with additional applications progressing through the Mining Commission. License renewals, statutory area reductions, and annual rent obligations are managed continuously.

02 / Flagship Development

Mining License Conversion

The flagship gold project has progressed through geological and geophysical work and is being prepared for mining license conversion under Tanzanian Mining Act procedure. Subject to license issuance, the project enters feasibility, environmental impact assessment under the National Environment Management Council, and construction planning.

03 / Capital Partnership

JV, Earn-In, or Acquisition

The company evaluates capital partnership structures across joint venture, staged earn-in, and outright acquisition. Structuring follows Tanzanian law, which applies a 16 percent government Free Carried Interest at mining license issuance. Universal Metal Limited's operating structure includes 25 percent Indigenous Tanzanian ownership, well above the statutory minimum, reflecting in-country partnership at the structural level.
